ACCESS TO THE PLAYING VENUES
The competition will take place at the Vélodrome de Bordeaux and Hall 3 of the Parc des Expositions. The velodrome is the nerve center of the event. These two buildings are located in the district of Bordeaux-Lac.
The district of Bordeaux-Lac if located north of the Bordeaux conurbation. It contains various sports, cultural and entertainment equipment. The Exhibition Center (the largest hangar in France-861 m long) is the reference building. It also contains sports equipment such as Matmut-Atlantic Stadium, Velodrome and golf. A Casino and various water activities are also present around the lake. Many hotels and a 4 * campsite allow to receive the many visitors.
To access these places :
From A63-Paris: Arriving on Bordeaux, take the direction Mérignac-Bordeaux-Lac Airport. From the A62, A63 or A89: take the ring road of Bordeaux. After Exit 27, take Mérignac-Bordeaux-Lac Airport.
After the bridge of Aquitaine, take the exit rocade 4 direction Bordeaux Lac, then direction Plaine des Sports, Parc des Expositions. The car park is the parking * of the Parc des Expositions, opposite the velodrome and the Matmut Stadium.
From the Railway Station
At the exit of the station, take tram C, direction Parc des Expositions, stop Parc des Expositions. The journey time is about 40min.
Go to Quinconces and take tram C, direction Parc des Expositions, stop Parc des Expositions. The journey time is approximately 15 minutes.
From the Airport
At the airport, take the shuttle bus that goes into the city center, then take tram C towards Parc des Expositions, stop Parc des Expositions. The journey time is approximately 60 minutes.
